Nanofiber electrospinning machine is a benchtop electrospinning system with dual spinning and learning functions, known as one of the effective and convenient ways to produce nanoscale fibers. These nanofibers have several remarkable properties, such as a large surface area by volume ratio, high porosity, flexibility of surface function, and excellent mechanical properties. Nanofibers are widely used in filtration and multifunctional membranes for medical purposes due to their outstanding properties. The nanofiber electrospinning machine is a system used to produce microfibers with a diameter of 20-1000nm. Integrated with two dual-channel injection pumps, high quality nanofibers can be produced efficiently.
The nanofiber electrospinning machine consists of a bipolar high-voltage power supply and a set of collectors for different applications. The instrument is also equipped with a unique rotating collector that allows the user to screw the fiber into the thread and collect it in the spool. The diameter of the fiber depends on various parameters, but mainly on the flow rate. To turn the fiber into yarn, two injection pumps, one with a positively charged spinneret and the other with a negatively charged spinneret, are used to form the fiber yarn and roll it into a funnel-shaped collector. Nanofibers have high specific surface area, small diameter and large porosity. More than 100 polymers are available as raw materials, as well as proteins, collagen, organics (PEO, DNA, PAA, PLA, nylon, polyester, acrylic resin, PVA, PS, PAN, peptides, cellulose).
